Most modern cars come equipped with ADAS, Advamced Driver Assistance Systems. The include Rear and Front Traffic Alert, Front Collision Warning, Lane Assistance, Parkingh Assistance or Self Parking, and others.
For these systems to work properly the sensors must be calibrated perfectly. Not only a collision, but even changing shock absorbers, windshield, or a minor bumber accident may affect them.
ADAS sensors are usually calibrated by a Dealer, and generally at a premium. We offer the same ADAS Calibration at a lower cost.
Moreover, because as an auto body shop we are intimately involved with repairing collisions and replacing these sensors, we know them well.
For Adas to work, its sensors must be absoultely calibrated with precision. Just some milimeters or one degree of misadjustment will affect the perception of the road and environment impeding the proper assistance, warning and automatic emergency actions offer by ADAS.
There are many sensors, the most usual are ultrasonic sensors and cameras, with radars becomning regular auto compenents as well.
